If the ends are stuck on your jewelry and you are having difficulty unscrewing to remove the screwed ends, try soaking the piece in warm/hot filtered or distilled water with some mild soap and then try to removing the ends. The mild soapy water will act as a lubricating agent and should help. Once unscrewed, then wash the piece with clean filtered or distilled. Dry the pieces after wash.
